It's Back!

That's right, the NFL lockout is over and football is back! I never really thought that the season would be in jeopardy, but it was getting closer and closer to the beginning of the pre-season and I was getting a bit worried.
It wasn't long until my team, the Baltimore Ravens, announced some serious changes. A salary cap has to be met and Todd Heap, Willis McGahee, Derrick Mason, and Kelly Gregg will all be getting cut. The news came as a shock since the excitement of the lockout ending was still setting in. They may not all be gone for good, but there's no denying that a core group of Ravens will be missing this year. Of course, just because the Ravens have decided to announce major changes early doesn't mean the salary caps won't drastically affect other teams - we just haven't heard any announcements yet. 
Strategy and some serious last-minute training will probably make all the difference in the NFL this season, since there will be a significant amount of changes made to the teams we know.
Things still seem disjointed, but it's definitely going to be an interesting season! I'm looking forward to my Sunday football and pumpkin lattes come September.
